At the end of our voyage, a small town will have transformed into the modern city of Pardubice.The journey leads through many significant moments, and many important people have traversed this path before you. Our story begins in 1845, in the middle the fantastic century of steam. You will meet Jan Perner, ascend to the stars with the assistance of Baron Artur Kraus, test your photographic skills in Josef Pírka's studio and sit in the classrooms of one of the new schools. You will learn about the beginnings of horse and motorcycle racing and witness the first flight of Jan Kašpar. Experience the beginnings of factories such as Fanto's Refinery, Franckovka or Explosia, and stories of notable buildings such as the theatre and the Grand Hotel. Go on an adventurous journey through time designed for little explorers, to the exhibition Play Pardubice! Uncover the city's significant milestones from 1845 to the 1930s through rare objects from our collections, enjoyable toys, original games and buildings, engaging all your senses.
