Closure of the Castle
Due to ongoing extensive renovations at the castle, the entire site will be closed to the public on the following dates:

  • January 13–26, 2025
  • February 10–March 2, 2025

Regular programs, such as the Museum Academy or thematic lectures, will continue. Participants will be escorted to the lecture hall by museum staff.

We thank our visitors for their understanding and patience during these temporary restrictions!

East Bohemia Museum in Pardubice

The museum's exhibitions and displays are open year-round every day except Monday, from 10 AM to 6 PM. Barrier-free access is available to the exhibitions Play Pardubice and Exit 91 / Excavations. The Pernštejn Residence tour is partially barrier-free (Great Gothic Hall and Pernštejn Armory). Contact for wheelchair users: +420 466 799 270

Ticket Office

You can purchase tickets at the ticket office or online. The East Bohemia Museum's ticket office is located in the right part of the Labská Gate passage and is the only entrance to the castle area. Tel.: +420 466 799 271, 773 819 028

Castle Grounds

The castle grounds are open year-round every day from 6 AM to 8 PM.

Castle Ramparts

November to March: 10 AM to 4 PM April, September, October: 8 AM to 6 PM May to August: 8 AM to 8 PM

We recommend that groups book their visit to the museum and castle in advance. In case of capacity limits, pre-booked groups will have priority.
